Strong squads for both sides as Galway and Bray square off

Galway United v Bray Wanderers

Galway United v Bray Wanderers

Galway United and Bray Wanderers go head to head tonight at Terryland Park tonight with the winners guaranteed Airtricity League Premier Division status for 2011, kick-off 7.45pm.

United will have a near full strength squad to choose from as they look to avoid relegation.

Sean Connor rested several players for their final league game on Friday so his side should be fighting fit for tonight’s encounter.

A huge boost for Galway was the reappearance of Stephen O'Donnell on Friday, the influential midfielder played the final 20 minutes on his comeback after a knee operation.

Ciaran Foley is ruled out with an ankle injury but otherwise Connor has a full squad to choose from.

Bray will travel without long-term injury victims Derek Prendergast (ankle), Sean Houston (cruciate) and John Mulroy (hamstring).

However, Wanderers will be confident of a positive result at Terryland after their impressive finish to the season and their well-earned draw with champions Shamrock Rovers on Friday night.

Danny O'Connor returns to the Wanderers squad after missing Friday night's draw through suspension.

Otherwise Bray will have the same squad to choose from as on Friday night.

Bray's Director of Football Pat Devlin said: "We know it will be tough as they are a well organised, well managed and well coached side and they have everything to play for like ourselves.”
