Baggies to appeal Ibanez red card

West Brom this afternoon confirmed they would appeal the red card issued to defender Pablo Ibanez in last night’s 2-1 defeat at Blackpool.

The Spaniard was dismissed by referee Michael Oliver in the 11th minute of last night’s Barclays Premier League encounter at Bloomfield Road after he was adjudged to have brought down Blackpool striker DJ Campbell inside the area.
