Ireland prospect Clarke commits to Villa

Aston Villa central defender Ciaran Clark, who recently declared for the Republic of Ireland, has agreed a new three-and-a-half-year deal with the midlands club.

The former England U-20 captain has established himself in the Villa first-team squad this season and played 78 minutes of the recent home clash with Chelsea.
