Maloney doubtful for cup quarter-final

Shaun Maloney is a doubt for Celtic’s Co-operative Insurance Cup quarter-final with St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park tomorrow night.

The Hoops skipper came off early in first half against Rangers at Parkhead on Sunday after taking a bang on the eye and manager Neil Lennon will assess him after training today.

James Forrest’s ankle injury keeps him sidelined but Charlie Mulgrew has recovered from a hamstring complaint and Thomas Rogne is back in training following a calf injury, though he will not be ready until the weekend.
