Chelsea will be without Brazilian midfielder Ramires for tomorrow’s Champions League Group F clash against Spartak Moscow at the Luzhniki Stadium.

He hurt his ankle in a collision with Aston Villa defender Richard Dunne in the first-half of Saturday’s goalless draw at Villa Park and will return home tomorrow to begin his rehab ahead of Saturday’s game with Wolves.

Michael Essien and Ashley Cole will be assessed tomorrow after coach Carlo Ancelotti has seen them in training on the artificial pitch.

The Blues left Didier Drogba (fever), Frank Lampard (groin), Alex (thigh), Jose Bosingwa (rested) and Daniel Sturridge (ankle) at home.
