Moyes: We have played better and lost

Everton manager David Moyes was delighted with his side’s 2-0 win over Liverpool today – but admitted his players had performed better this season and lost.

The Toffees have endured a testing start to the campaign and came into the Merseyside derby having won just once but they were too strong for a Liverpool team who remain in the relegation zone.
