McLeish hails courageous Carr

Birmingham boss Alex McLeish has praised captain and former Republic of Ireland player Stephen Carr for his courage in defying a broken toe to figure during the opening weeks of the current campaign.

Carr needed daily injections to ensure he was fit enough to play in City’s opening five Barclays Premier League games.
