Newcastle unchanged for Blackpool tie
Newcastle boss Chris Hughton has fielded an unchanged team as the Magpies looked to extend their unbeaten run at home to Blackpool.
In-form striker Andy Carroll has shaken off an ankle injury to keep his place, but Hughton’s new boys have to bide their time.
England defender Sol Campbell and midfielders Cheik Tiote and Hatem Ben Arfa are all named on the bench.
Blackpool manager Ian Holloway has made three changes to the side which drew 2-2 with Fulham last time out as Neal Eardley, Dekel Keinan and DJ Campbell coming in for Alex Baptiste, Craig Cathcart and Gary Taylor-Fletcher.
