Rigters loaned to Dutch side

Maceo Rigters has left Blackburn for a season-long loan with Eredivisie side Willem II.

The Dutchman moved to Ewood Park from NAC Breda three years ago but failed to nail down a starting spot and spent time on loan at Norwich and Barnsley.

He now returns to his homeland looking to reignite a career that stalled in England after he finished top-scorer in the 2007 under-21 European Championships.
