A stunning strike from Ireland under-21 international Seamus Conneely and a brace from Tom King eased Galway United through to an FAI Ford Cup quarter-final meeting away to Shamrock Rovers.
Left-back Conneely rifled home the opener on 15 minutes when the ball dropped kindly for him on edge of area and he found the top corner of the net.
Midfielder King doubled Galway’s lead on 61 minutes before sealing the win seven minutes from time with his second.
Victor Collins got a consolation goal for Devon in the first minute of stoppage time.
