Belgrove bow out

Belgrove keeper Alan Cosgrave was hero and villain as the only non-league side left in the Cup bowed out at Richmond Park.

Cosgrave brilliantly saved a first mintue penalty from Derek Doyle after the Saints’ winger was tripped by John Kerr.

But Cosgrave then took a heavy touch on a back pass in the 26th minute and Doyle tapped home the loose ball for the lead.

Then, right on 45 minutes, Cosgrave could only parry Ryan Guy’s fierce shot and left-back Ian Bermingham was alert to shoot home the rebound.
