Teenage duo set to start for Wolves

Teenager Sam Winnall and Danny Batth will make their debuts for Wolves in Tuesday night’s Carling Cup tie against Southend United.

Teenager Sam Winnall and Danny Batth will make their debuts for Wolves in Tuesday night’s Carling Cup tie against Southend United.

Striker Winnall and defender Batth will line up in a team which will not feature Steven Fletcher, who is still regaining fitness after missing Saturday’s match at Everton with a bruised foot, or Karl Henry, who has a groin injury.

Steven Ward is currently unable to play two games in quick succession, having had a knee operation towards the end of last season, while Steven Mouyokolo is also unavailable due to a damaged hamstring.
