City close in on Kolarov

Manchester City are on the verge of signing Aleksandar Kolarov after the Lazio left-back was granted a work permit.

However, despite recent speculation linking Wayne Bridge with Liverpool, manager Roberto Mancini said Kolarov’s imminent arrival did not mean the end of the England defender’s City career.
