Sorry Dundalk bow out of Europe

As expected, Dundalk bowed out of the Europa League as Bulgarian side Levski Sofia eased into the third round.

Levski showed little mercy as they continued where they’d left off from the 6-0 hiding handed out in Sofia by taking the lead at Oriel Park after just four minutes.

The ball was worked through to French striker Garra Dembele and he beat Wayne Hatswell to rifle a shot past Peter Cherrie.

Dembele scored again on 33 minutes when Cherrie couldn’t hold a shot from Vladimir Gadzhev and he scooped the rebound home.
