Thierry Henry will announce his retirement from the France national team at a press conference in New York later today, according to reports.

The 32-year-old striker is expected to confirm his decision to end his international career at his official unveiling by Major League Soccer outfit the New York Red Bulls, with whom Henry agreed a multi-year contract yesterday.

The former Arsenal and Barcelona star made his debut for France in 1997 and went on to make 123 appearances for Les Bleus, scoring 51 goals.
