Ferguson gives reasons for turning down international return
Barry Ferguson has revealed loyalty to his family and Birmingham boss Alex McLeish was the reason behind his decision not to play for Scotland again.
The midfielder was banned from international selection in April 2009 for his role in the “Boozegate” affair but was offered the opportunity to return by Scotland boss Craig Levein.
