England unchanged for Germany clash

Fabio Capello named an unchanged side for the first time as England manager for this afternoon’s World Cup clash with Germany in Bloemfontein.

The Italian kept faith in Matthew Upson to partner former skipper John Terry in central defence even though Jamie Carragher is available again after missing last Wednesday’s victory over Slovenia through suspension.
