Drogheda United and Galway United go head-to-head in tonight’s Airtricity League Premier Division clash (kick-off 7.45pm).

Drogheda will be without the suspended trio of Joe Kendrick, Jamie Duffy and Eric McGill. Robbie Martin, Jamie Harris, Darragh McNamara and Damien Brennan are all ruled out through injury, while Garreth O'Connor is a doubt.

Caretaker boss Darius Kierans said: “The lads have all come back from the break feeling well and there is a buzz around the squad.

“It's a massive game for us Friday night, Galway will be a difficult prospect.

“But we have done a lot of work over the break and those who are fit for the game will be up for the match and we will be going into Friday night with some confidence.”

Galway travel with a strong squad and may have Derek O'Brien back after a stomach muscle problem forced him to miss the last nine matches.
