Rioting by fans of one of the country’s top football clubs at a match was branded mindless and a disgrace by Justice Minister Dermot Ahern today.

Up to 15 followers of Shamrock Rovers hurled missiles on to the pitch during the clash with Dundalk at the latter’s home ground, Oriel Park, last night.
