N. Ireland arrange Montenegro friendly for August

Nigel Worthington’s Northern Ireland side will play Montenegro in an international friendly on Wednesday, August 11, in Podgorica.

Montenegro, who are currently ranked 69th in the FIFA world rankings, finished 5th in Group 8 in the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign - a group which included Italy and the Republic of Ireland.

This will be Northern Ireland’s final preparation match before the Euro 2012 qualifying campaign kicks off on Friday, September 3, away to Slovenia.

The venue and kick-off time for the game against Montenegro to be confirmed.
