Burnley have announced the suspension of midfielder Joey Gudjonsson for two weeks pending a full investigation following his comments about manager Brian Laws.

An Icelandic website quoted Gudjonsson questioning the team’s spirit under Laws ahead of their 4-1 victory at Hull on Saturday.
