League champions kick off against Cup holders

Bohemians open the defence of their title with a tricky clash against FAI Cup holders Sporting Fingal at Dalymount Park, kick-off 7.35pm.

Bohemians will be without defender Ken Oman who is definitely out with a knee injury, while Jason Byrne is doubtful for the opening match.
