Cork City wont play in the League of Ireland Premier Division this season after the Independent Club Licensing Committee unanimously decided to refuse their application.

Cork City wont play in the League of Ireland Premier Division this season after the Independent Club Licensing Committee unanimously decided to refuse their application.

However, they have been granted a licence to play in the First Division but they will need to find €160,000 to pay off the Revenue Commissioners to take that place as they are facing a winding up order.
