Decision on Cork City licence deferred

The FAI's Independent Club Licensing Committee last night deferred its decision on granting a Premier Division licence to Cork City until after the High Court case comes in for mention on Monday, February 22 next.

The FAI's Independent Club Licensing Committee last night deferred its decision on granting a Premier Division licence to Cork City until after the High Court case comes in for mention on Monday, February 22 next.

In making its decision, the committee noted that one of the fundamental principles of club licensing is the protection of creditors such as club employees, other clubs and the Revenue.
