Op for Rangers' Boyd

Rangers manager Walter Smith has confirmed that Kris Boyd faces hernia surgery and up to six weeks on the sidelines.

The striker will see a specialist today after limping out of Sunday‘s 3-3 Active Nation Scottish Cup draw at Hamilton with a groin problem.
