Rooney gives United half-time lead

Wayne Rooney struck in injury time to edge Manchester United in front after a frustrating first half at Hull this afternoon.

Rooney turned in from close range after Hull failed to clear a Darren Fletcher cross.

Until then struggling Hull had performed superbly with Seyi Olofinjana and Stephen Hunt unable to convert particularly good chances.
