Alex Ferguson has confirmed Darron Gibson will start Manchester United’s Champions League Group B encounter with Besiktas at Old Trafford tomorrow.

Gibson will be among a number of changes to the team which beat Everton at the weekend, with Gabriel Obertan tipped to start his first European tie.
