McGeady: French comments 'derogatory'

Republic of Ireland midfielder Aiden McGeady has described some of the comments about Ireland coming from the French camp as “derogatory”.

After the draw for the play-offs, it was widely reported that France manager Raymond Domenech described the Republic of Ireland as "England B", although French sources have since clarified that the word he used – "bis" – actually means "similar to" and not "lesser than".
