Striker Doyle had cup finalists Sligo in front after just two minutes.

The sides then exchanged goals on the hour mark.

Ross Gaynor levelling for Drogheda before defender Peers restored Sligo's lead two minutes later.

Blinkhorn then sealed the win with Sligo's third goal 10 minutes from time.
