Hoops missing midfield pair

Celtic flew to Hamburg for tomorrow night’s make-or-break Europa League clash this morning without key men Scott Brown and Shaun Maloney.

Both midfielders missed Saturday’s Clydesdale Bank Premier League win against Kilmarnock, Brown with his troublesome ankle problem and Maloney with a recurrence of tendonitis in his Achilles.

Celtic must win in Germany if they are to maintain any real hope of qualifying from Group C.
