Bohemians moved a point clear at the top of the Premier Division with a facile win over an abject St. Patrick’s side at Dalymount, capitalising on Shamrock Rovers’ 22-match unbeaten run ending at home to Cork City.

Jason Byrne pushed Bohs in front with his 20th goal of the campaign on 24 minutes, but not before referee Declan Hanney had to overrule his assistant, Rhona Daly, who’d wrongly given the goal offside.

Ken Oman headed Bohs’ second from skipper Paul Keegan's free-kick on 33 minutes. Killian Brennan scored the goal of the night five minutes into the second half when drilling home after nutmegging Gary Dempsey. Mark Quigley got St. Pat’s consolation goal two minutes from time.
