Thomas Stewart, Mark Farren and Sammy Morrow are also sidelined for the visit of Paul Cook’s Sligo.

Clive Delaney is ruled out of City’s defence after getting sent off against Galway on Friday night.

Goalkeeper Richard Brush is still out of action for Rovers as he recovers from a broken wrist.

Owen Morrison is also missing as Sligo look to escape from the relegation play-off positions.

Rovers boss Cook will be hoping he picks up no new injuries or suspensions ahead of Friday’s Cup semi-final against Waterford United.
