Barcelona striker Thierry Henry is set to be sidelined for the next 10 days due to a hamstring injury, the Primera Division club have announced.

Henry limped out of France’s World Cup qualifier against Austria shortly after half-time last night after complaining of pain in his right thigh, and tests in Barcelona today have confirmed the extent of the problem and how long he is likely to be out for.

The former Arsenal striker is now set to miss the league games Valencia and Real Zaragoza, as well as next week’s Champions League clash with Rubin Kazan.
