McCoist defends Old Firm actions

Ally McCoist admits he can understand George Burley’s concerns about a detrimental effect on Scottish football if the Old Firm ever quit the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.

But the Ibrox assistant boss insists Rangers and Celtic have every right to explore any opportunities which would allow both clubs to fulfil their potential.
