Champions Bohemians bounced back superbly from their defeat at Shamrock Rovers last week to trounce relegation-threatened Drogheda at Dalymount.

Jason Byrne quickly made amends for his late penatly miss at Tallaght Stadium by firing Bohs in front on 27 minutes.

Midfielder Joseph Ndo doubled Bohs' lead three minutes later to leave second-bottom Drogheda facing an uphill task.

A delightful chipped goal by left-back Conor Powell, his first of the season, made it 3-0 eight minutes into the second half.

Glen Crowe added the fourth goal two minutes into stoppage time as Bohs remain two points behind arch-rivals Rovers.
