Duff to get results of scan on calf injury

Irish international Damien Duff is expected to get the results of a scan on his calf injury either today or tomorrow.

The Fulham winger is set to miss the Republic of Ireland's World Cup qualifier with Italy on Saturday as a result of the injury.

A decision will be made by Irish management later this week on whether to call him up for next Wednesday's clash against Montenegro.
