Deans back for Wanderers

Bray Wanderers boss Eddie Gormley will welcome Chris Deans back from suspension for the FAI Ford Cup quarter-final replay with Longford Town at the Carlisle Grounds tonight, kick-off 7.45pm.

Gormley will, however, have to plan without long-term injury victim Paul Byrne, while there are doubts about Derek Foran and Gary McCabe who both picked up knocks on Saturday night.

Speaking ahead of the game Gormley said: "It was a very good performance on Saturday night but we didn't take our chances and if we had, it would have been a different game.

"We have to do it all again and if we can give a similar performance, we will give ourselves a good chance of progressing to the semi-finals.”

Longford travel to Bray with a strong squad and will be looking to shock their Premier Division opponents.
