Webber joins Portsmouth

Portsmouth today boosted their striking ranks with the capture of free agent Danny Webber after he impressed during a trial at Fratton Park.

The 27-year-old left Sheffield United in the summer and has now penned a two-year contract with Pompey, who sit bottom of the Barclays Premier League without a point and having scored only one goal in four games.
