Kavanagh and Maguire doubtful for Rovers

Shamrock Rovers will look to maintain their impressive unbeaten run as they take on St Patrick's Athletic at Tallaght Stadium, kick-off 7.45pm.

Rovers have doubts about the availability of Paddy Kavanagh (hip) and Darragh Maguire (calf), while Pat Sullivan is suspended and Alan Mannus is away on international duty with Northern Ireland.

“Darragh was injured in training last Thursday,” said Hoops boss Michael O’Neill.

“Both himself and Paddy might make it, while Corie Treacy is back in training and in contention.

“It’s yet another Dublin derby, and it’s also our fourth game against St Pat’s this season. We’ve won all three played so far but they’ve also been very tight games.

“We expect this one to be tight as well, but we have to learn from dropping points at home and do everything we can to prevent that from happening for the rest of the season.”

St Pat’s travel to Tallaght with no injury or suspension concerns as Jeff Kenna’s side look for the points to take them clear of the relegation zone.
