Fulham have signed striker David Elm from Swedish side Kalmar on a one-year deal.

Fulham have signed striker David Elm from Swedish side Kalmar on a one-year deal.

The 26-year-old has moved to Craven Cottage for an undisclosed fee.

Elm told Fulham’s official website: “I am looking forward to training with the team straight away in preparation for some important Premier League and Europa League matches after this international break.

“I have enjoyed my time in Sweden and I am now looking forward to a new and exciting chapter in my career with Fulham.”

Elm made 64 appearances for Kalmar since joining from Falkenberg in 2006.

He was a member of the Kalmar squad which won the 2008 Allsvenska title for the first time in the club’s history.

He also helped the club win the 2009 Swedish Super Cup.
