Kevin-Prince Boateng has today completed his move from Tottenham to Portsmouth on a three-year deal.

German midfielder Boateng was expected to join Pompey after Spurs made it clear the 22-year-old - who has struggled to hold down a first-team place at White Hart Lane - was available.

The clubs were reported to have agreed a few of around £4m, and Portsmouth this afternoon confirmed on their official website that the deal has gone through.

Pompey boss Paul Hart told www.portsmouthfc.co.uk: "Kevin's a good player, and I'm thrilled that we've managed to get him here.

"He's a young player who wants to prove something. Like all players we've brought in, he's got something to prove.

"He's got tremendous ability, and we hope we can provide the environment to channel that."
