Spurs wait on Gomes after scan

Tottenham goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes has undergone a scan and is now expected to visit a specialist over the thigh injury suffered during this week’s win over Hull.

The 28-year-old Brazilian was assisted off early in the victory that sent Spurs to the top of the Premier League, with Carlo Cudicini deputising and set to continue on Sunday against West Ham.
