Plymouth have signed 20-year-old striker Cillian Sheridan on loan from Celtic.

Plymouth have signed 20-year-old striker Cillian Sheridan on loan from Celtic.

The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international will join Paul Sturrock’s squad ahead of Saturday’s opening home game against QPR.

Sheridan scored two league goals in 14 games for Motherwell at the end of last season.
