Draw made for Setanta Sports Cup

Derry City have been drawn against St Patrick's Athletic and Linfield in Group Three of the 2009/10 Setanta Sports Cup.

Cork City have been included, despite doubts over their future, and have been drawn against Sligo Rovers and Cliftonville in Group One.

Group Two sees Bohemians face two teams from the North, Glentoran and Coleriane.

With the competition set to start in late August and run until May 2010, it will see three clubs – Bohemians, Coleraine and Sligo Rovers – make their tournament debuts.

The introduction of semi-finals played over two legs will be welcomed by clubs and fans alike, while the scheduling of matches at the weekend for the first time is also a welcome addition.
