Rovers down Pats
Sligo Rovers 2 St. Patrick’s Athletic 0
New loan signing Eoin Doyle scored on his debut as Sligo won for the first time in seven games as St. Pat’s suffered a European hangover at the Showgrounds.
Winger Doyle, on loan from Shamrock Rovers, struck on 18 minutes when taking skipper Connor O’Grady’s pass to drill a shot past Gary Rogers.
Matt Blinkhorn doubled Sligo’s lead on 59 minutes; tapping home the rebound after Rogers could only parry a shot from Romu Boco.
