The Scottish Premier League refused to comment on reports that Rangers and Celtic were set to bid for the broadcasting rights to Scottish football.

Ibrox chief executive Martin Bain confirmed that discussions with Celtic had taken place as the 10 other SPL clubs consider a deal put forward by Sky and ESPN.
