No return to Merseyside for Fowler

North Queensland Fury striker Robbie Fowler has denied a report he is set to reunite with former Liverpool team-mate John Barnes at Tranmere and insists his future remains in Australia.

Fowler, 34, signed a two-year contract with the new A-League franchise in February although he has yet to make his debut or even taken part in a full training session due to a string of groin and hip injuries.
