Sligo Rovers will be looking to bounce back from their midweek European defeat as they take on Drogheda United at the Showgrounds tonight.

Rovers boss Paul Cook must plan without Gavin Peers and Jason Noctor who are both suspended for today’s clash.

Striker Stephen Parkhouse also misses out with a leg injury.

Drogheda must plan without long-term injury victims Steve Williams and Robbie Farrell, but otherwise boss Alan Mathews has a full compliment of players to choose from.

Paul Crowley returns to the squad and should play some part in Sunday’s trip to the north-west.

Mathews said: “Everyone apart from Steve Williams and Robbie Farrell have returned with a clean bill of health after the break.

“We are at the half-way point in the season and every game is a big game.

“We need to pick up where we left off and that’s what we will be looking to do on Sunday. There is a long way to go and we aren’t anywhere near safety just yet.”
