Bray Wanderers 1 Bohemians 3

Bohemians came from a goal down to move four points clear at the top of the table.

Bottom side Bray stunned the champions when Chris Shields punished a defensive error to shoot them in front on 28 minutes.

However, a sublimely contrived goal by Gary Deegan levelled for Bohs on 42 minutes.

Deegan then won a penalty for a trip by David O’Neill on 53 minutes which was powerfully despatched by Jason Byrne for his 15th goal of the season.

Killian Brennan sealed the win with Bohs' third goal on 61 minutes, stretching to shoot home Graham Carey’s cross.

The night ended on a sour note for the influential Deegan, who was sent off on 77 minutes following a bad challenge on Paddy Kavanagh, his second booking.
