Mowbray appointed Celtic boss
Tony Mowbray has been officially appointed Celtic manager, the club have confirmed.
The former West Brom manager will bring assistant Mark Venus and first-team coach Peter Grant, a former Celtic team-mate, with him to Parkhead and current Hoops coach Neil Lennon will also join the new management team.
Mowbray will meet the media at a press conference at Celtic Park tomorrow morning.
Mowbray's appointment finally brings to an end weeks of speculation about who would succeed Gordon Strachan, who departed after failing to win his fourth SPL title in succession.
West Brom chairman Jeremy Peace reluctantly agreed to allow the Glasgow giants to speak to Mowbray on Saturday after Celtic agreed to pay £2m in compensation for the former Parkhead defender.
After Mowbray agreed personal terms, and compensation had been agreed for Venus and Grant, Celtic announced on their official website that the deal had been completed although there were no details of his contract or of what role Lennon will fulfil.
